Robert was born in Birmingham, AL, on September 12, 1943, was raised in Detroit, MI, and moved to Polk County with his father in 1977. Robert was a well-known resident of Winter Haven for many years, and was frequently seen walking all over town while visiting his favorite local businesses, like Bank of America, Goodwill, Walgreens, and Wal-Mart. He was also active in several local churches through the years, particularly Christ Community. If he met you once, he certainly wouldn’t forget your name!
