WINTER HAVEN - Roscoe “Ros” R. Flint, 89, of Winter Haven, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Winter Haven Hospital due to heart failure.

Born Dec. 23, 1917 to Samuel and Augusta Flint in Clarksburg, WV, Mr. Flint was a supervisor for Republic Steel in Warren, OH before retiring to Ocala, FL. He moved to Winter Haven in November of 1999. He was a Member of the First Baptist Church of Winter Haven and a member of the Gideons International.

His parents, and a son, Rev. Mark E. Flint, precede Mr. Flint in death.

He is survived by: his wife of 70 years, Emma R. Flint; a son, Rev. R. Allan Flint of Carlisle, IA; 2 daughters, Sharron Flint Ponder of Winter Haven and Holly Flint Hall of Knoxville, TN; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10am till 11am, Friday, March 16, 2007 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.
