LAKELAND - Annette Manassa, 71, passed away Saturday, march 3, 2007 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. 

Born January 22, 1936 in Kannapolis, NC, Mrs. Manassa, a daughter of the late Luther and Alma Adams Chastain, graduated from Landis High School of North Carolina.  She was formerly employed at GTE, and later retired from the State Attorney’s office.  Annette also had her real estate license and sold properties from time to time.  Annette would do anything for anyone in need.  She will be missed and loved by many.  

Survivors include sons Henry Manassa III and Joseph Manassa; daughter Sandra Manassa; sisters Irene Manassa and Betty Crooms; grandchildren Chelsea Manassa, Hollie Manassa, Dustin Manassa and Hannah Manassa.
