WINTER HAVEN - Robert Wayne Sheldon, age 82, of Winter Haven, FL, died Thursday, March  1, 2007, at Winter Haven Hospital due to Heart failure. 

Born February 6, 1925 in Rosiclare, IL he moved to Winter Haven 20 years ago from Bolingbrook, IL.   He was of the Christian Faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War.  He was a Member of American Legion Post 8 in Winter Haven and a member of the VFW in Bolingbrook, IL where he was the Past Commander.

 He is survived by: his wife of 52 years, Lois Marie (Kleis) Sheldon; a daughter, Karen Sheldon of Winter Haven, Fl; Two Sons, Brian Sheldon of Towson, Md. And Kevin Sheldon of Cary, Ill.; a sister, Wanda Reuter of Arlington Heights, Ill.; Four grandchildren, Robert Sheldon, Laura Sheldon, Allison Sheldon and Nicholas McMann. 

 The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 from 5:00pm till 7:00pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd. Winter Haven, FL 33881.  Funeral service will be at Oak Ridge Funeral Care at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March  7, 2007 .  Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. at 2:00pm.
