LAKELAND, FL - Billy Joe Moore, 68, of Bartow, FL, died Friday, May 07, 2010 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to heart failure.

Born July 27, 1941 in Sugar Creek, West Virginia to Sanford Andrew and Cilicia Hamrick Moore, he was a past resident of the area and had moved back here this past March after living in Smithers, West Virginia for the past 20 years.  He was a disabled Coal Miner and was a member of the Gallagher Baptist Church in Gallagher, West Virginia. 

Preceded in death by: his parents and his wife Arline Moore, he is survived by: 2 sons, Isaiah Hall of Chattanooga, TN and Walter Hall of Savannah, GA; 2 daughters, Cilicia Jones of Bartow, FL and Elizabeth English of Lakeland, FL; 3 brothers, Carl Moore of Smyrna, GA,  Sylvester Moore of Hurts, VA and James Moore of Medina, NY; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild expected in July.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ansted, WV.  Interment will be in the Steele Cemetery in Ansted.
