DAVENPORT - Michael "Mike" Everett, 59, of Davenport, FL passed away on April 30, 2010.

He was born August 25, 1950 in Chattanooga, TN to Robert Haskell and Nellie Elizabeth Gilreath Everett. Mike was employed with Public Storage and of the Baptist faith, he loved the outdoors especially playing golf, which he did his whole life. Mike also loved Florida and being at the beach, saying his feet were made for the sand. 

He is predeceased by his parents and survived by, his wife of 24 years, Billie Jean Everett of Davenport; sons Joe, Matt and Alex Everett and his brother, Bobby (Brenda) Everett, all of Chattanooga. 

Family will receive friends Friday from 10 until noon when a memorial service will follow at Lane Funeral Home, South Crest Chapel, Rossville, GA. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc..
