WINTER HAVEN - Carol Shapley,70, of Winter Haven, FL died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at the Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, FL due to heart failure.  

Born July 13, 1939 in Riverside NJ she moved to Winter Haven 17 years ago from Manahawkin, NJ where she was still a summer resident.  She was a retired  school bus driver for Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bethlehem Chapter # 40 in Barnagat, NJ. 

Preceded in death by her husband, John C. Shapley, 5 years ago, she is survived by: a son, John C. Shapley, Jr (Chuck). and his wife Kathy of Carlisle, PA; a daughter, Lynda Scholey and her husband, Paul of Ship Bottom, NJ; and four grandchildren, Janelle Scholey, Steven Scholey, T.J. Shapley and his wife Alyssa and Matt Shapley.

Carol also leaves behind her many dear and close friends. 

Mom's heart was broken when she lost our Dad and has been aching since. Dad greeted her, and they will look over us all ,together. She will always be in our hearts, we have many memories to hold onto, we will miss her. 

A Memorial Service will be held at Manahawkin Methodist Church in New Jersey.
