Mother Eliza Jackson was born on February 17, 1913 in Union Springs, AL to the late Mr. John Ellis and Lizzie Mclain Ellis.

                      A Time of Love

Eliza was married to the late Mr. Louis Jackson.

                      A Time of Praise

Mother Jackson was a member of Second Baptist Church, Thompson Community, Covenant Community Church, Haines City.

                       A Time of Play

Mother Jackson loved to play bingo; she was given the name Bingo Jackson. She loved to watch The Price is Right and her soap operas.

                       A Time of Farewell

On Saturday, March 20, 2010 God called one of his beautiful angels home, Mother Eliza Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Mrs. Donna (David) Smith of Union Springs; granddaughters, Mrs. Faye (George) Hawthorne of Winter Haven, FL, Miss Lentia Smith of Union Springs, Mrs. Lytte Baldwin of Montgomery, AL; six step daughters; three step sons; a devoted nephew, Mr. Jimmy Jernigan; four goddaughters and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

                       Celebration of Life

Visitation will be Friday, March 26, 2010 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. The funeral will be on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Covenant Community Church, Haines City at 11:00 A.M. Committal service to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
