Anna Marie Greenlee   

 

HAINES CITY - Anna Marie Greenlee died March 27, 2010 in Haines City, Florida.  She just celebrated her 94th birthday; she was born February 20th, 1916 in Brown County Indiana.  She was the daughter of Ellis Leroy (Roy) White and Bertha Mae Thompson.

She was married to Jesse Kenneth Greenlee on January 31, 1939.  Jesse died in 1989.  They were married for 50 years.

Anna was a homemaker that enjoyed gardening, quilting and sewing.  She was a 4-H Leader of the Starletts and Comets 4-H club for over 25 years.

Anna was a member of the North Salem United Methodist Church in Brown County, Indiana where she had been a Sunday School teacher for over 15 years.  She also served as church historian, member of the choir and the United Methodist Women’s group.

She had 4 brothers and 3 sisters they were – Infant Brother, Paul, Clarence & Wayne White, Dolley & Wanda White and Dorothy Skinner – all deceased.

Jesse & Anna have 2 children – Kenneth (& Glen-Na) Greenlee – Columbus, Indiana, and Eileen Martin – Haines City, Florida.  3 grandchildren – Lisa (& Jeff) Cox and Kenneth Greenlee, Jr. – both of Raleigh, NC, and Barbara Martin of Haines City, Florida.  2 great-grandchildren – Dalton & Katherine Cox of Raleigh, NC.

Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville, IN.
