AUBURNDALE, FLORIDA - Debra Denise Smith of Auburndale peacefully passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 after an extremely brave 19 month battle with brain cancer, surrounded by her loving family and many friends at the Good Shepherd Hospice.  She was 52.  A native of Norfolk, VA, born May 15, 1958, Debra moved here over ten years ago from Seffner, FL.  She was a homemaker, and a member of Grace Community Church in Winter Haven. 

Debra is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Brian; her son Jeremy Brian Smith (Chana) of Lakeland, FL; her daughter Heather Strickland (Jason) of Auburndale; her brother Darrel Wannamaker of Seffner, FL; her mother: Evelyn M. Wanamaker of Plant City, FL; and three grandchildren:  Alyssa, Jacob, and Hayden.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 9 to 11 AM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will follow at 11AM from the funeral home chapel.  Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland.  Condolences to the family can be made to:  www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
