Lakeland- Kenneth B. Bryan, age 75 of Lakeland, Florida passed away Friday June 4, 2010 from heart failure.
Mr. Bryan was born Nov. 7, 1934 in Grand Bay, Alabama and moved to Dundee, FL in 1951 and then to Lakeland in 1960. He retired from the US. Postal Services at the Lakeland Downtown Post Office. Mr. Bryan had also retired from the US. Navy, having served during the Korean War. Mr. Bryan was a member of Lakeland Masonic Lodge 91, F&AM; 32 Degree Scottish Rite and Egypt Shrine Temple in Tampa, Florida.
He was preceded death by his parents, William Jefferson and Lula T. (Pierce) Bryan, Brothers, W. J. Brylan, Max Bryan, Sister Leanna Fields and his beloved wife Hazel June Bryan in 2006,.
Survivors, include his Sons, Michael Bryan of Cave City, Ky and Richard Bryan of Lakeland, Fl; Daughter, Deborah Thoma of Lakeland, Brother Harold Bryan of Lorida, Fl. and 2 Sisters, Lillian Stewart and Betty Mattox, both of Haines City,Fl. Five Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 PM and services at 11AM. Wed. June 9, 2010 at the Chapel of Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.
