WINTER HAVEN, FL - Azierue Phillips of Wahneta, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at Consulate Health Care in Winter Haven.  She was 91. 

A native of  Alabama born, March 23, 1919, Azierue moved here in 1945 from Alabama.  She was a Sectionizer from Snively Citrus, and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wahneta.

Azierue was predeceased by her husband:  Short Phillips; her son:  J.W. Phillips, her daughter:  JoAnn Meadows; her granddaughter:  Janet Jones, her grandson:  Mark Meadows, her sister Madie Ruth Wilkerson, and her brother:  Earl Farmer.  She is survived by her grandsons:  Cary L. (Tammy) Meadows of Winter Haven, and Jay Allen Meadows of Wahneta; her great-grandchildren:  Crystal Meadows, Jaycee & Sydnee Meadows, Erik Jones, and Chad (Caitlin) Meadows, and her sisters:  Emma Richardson of Lake Wales, and Katie Colson of Orlando..

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 20, 2010  from  10 to 11AM at the First Baptist Church of Wahneta.  Funeral services will follow at 11 AM at the church.  Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.  Condolences to the family can be sent to:  www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
