WINTER HAVEN - Michael Alan Archbold, 62,of Winter Haven, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at Winter Haven Hospital due ato Respiratory Failure.

Born December 1, 1947 in New York City, New York to James and Yolanda Ciebalski Archbold, he was a resident the area for the past 9 years, having moved here from Brooklyn, NY.  He worked for the Polk County Water Dept. for the last 3 years and prior to that had worked 6 years for the Lake Alfred Water Dept.  Michael was also a retired First Sergeant from the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. 

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by: his wife of 20 years, Ya; a daughter, Wen Wen Liu of Pembroke Pines, FL; a sister, Christine Chicco of Long Island, NY; and 2 grandchildren; and 5 nephews.  Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
