WINTER HAVEN - Ervin Villanueva of Winter Haven, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.  He was 78. 

A native of New York City, born 1931,  Ervin moved here 30 years ago from Puerto Rico.  He retired as a Social Worker from the Polk County School Board, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

Ervin is survived by his loving family of 3 daughters, 1 son, one brother, two sisters, and his grandchildren.

Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
