WINTER HAVEN, FL - Norine Marie McCarty, 77, of Winter Haven, FL died Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at her residence due to cancer.

Born January 16, 1933 on Pittsburgh, PA she moved to Winter Haven a year ago from Chattanooga, TN and had previously lived in Port Charlotte, FL.  She was a homemaker, attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Winter Haven and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 8 in Winter Haven.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Ross" McCarty and a brother, Don Kraus.
She is survived by: 2 daughters, Bonnie Willard of Winter Haven, FL and Debbie Knam of Chattanooga, TN; a son, Kevin McCarty of Akron, OH; a sister, Mary Ann Hylton of Maryland; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10:00am till 11:00am, Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will follow at 11:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel with Father Peter Puntal officiating.
