Walter Paul Hunsicker, age 88 of Haines City, Florida passed away July 3, 2010 at his home.

Mr. Hunsicker was born Nov. 3, 1921 in Hamler,Ohio, the son of Gottlieb John and Bertha Louise (Wilsky) Hunsicker. He moved to Haines City with his wife Mary Eleanor (Sellers) Hunsicker in 1986 from Franklin, Indiana where he owned a plumbing business.   He was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, Winter Haven, the Barbershop Harmony Society where he also was a competition Judge. Mr. Hunsicker was also a member of the Franklin, Ind. Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife Mary Eleanor in 2001. He is survived by his two daughters; Paula and husband Earle King of Grand Island, New York; Alayne and husband Ed Archer of Winter Park, Fl. two sisters, Helen Bleekman of Hemet, California; Lucille Nahrwold of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and 2 Grandsons, Andrew King and Christopher King.

Memorial services were held at 11:00 AM. Thursday (7/8/2010) in the Clubhouse of Royal Palm Village, 3000 Hwy. 17 - 92 West, Haines City, Florida.

Commital Services and burial of Mr. Hunsicker will be 11:00 AM. Saturday (July 24, 2010) at  Greenlawn Cemetery, 6600 Covington Rd. Ft. Wayne, Indiana. with Military Honors provided by the Indiana Army National Guard.
