AUBURNDALE -  Grady Lee Smith 71 of Auburndale, FL  died Nov. 1, 2009 at his residence due to heart failure. 

Born April 18, 1938 in Winter Haven he has been a lifelong resident of the area.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Air force and retired as a  welder.  He was a member of Gods Church Back to the Word Ministries in Auburndale, FL.

Grady is survived by: a son, Dallas W. Smith of Auburndale, FL; 2 daughters, Lea Oliver of St. Petersburg, FL and Dana Smith of Lakeland, FL;  2 sisters, Annette Huggins of Polk City, FL  and Oveida Griffin of Auburndale, FL; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens with Rev. Pete Helmoth officiating.
