MULBERRY - Willard D. Mincey, 53, of Mulberry, FL died Sat. Jan. 2, 2010 at the South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City due to pneumonia.

Born Jan.14, 1956 in Baxley, GA to Bruce and Hazel Walker Mincey, he has been a lifelong resident of Polk County.  He was of the Protestant Faith and worked in Cable Construction.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bruce Mincey.  He is survived by: a brother, Danny Mincey of Mulberry; and 4 sisters, Wilma Herndon of Mulberry, Pansy Smith of Lakeland, Cindy Berges of Dunellon and Phyllis Mincey of Ocala. 

A Memorial service will be at 2:00pm, Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010 in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lake Alfred. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.   Condolences may be sent at www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
