Lawrence Williams

Haines City, Fl - Mr. Lawrence Edward Williams, age 76 went home to be with The Lord on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 due to complications from Parkinson’s disease.

He was born in Brooker, Fl. on Feb.2, 1934 and moved to the area in 1948. He lived most of his years in Davenport and had just recently moved to Haines City. He was a member and deacon of Westside Baptist Church in Haines City. He worked for over 35 years as a Superintendent for R-S Insulation in Davenport where he retired from there in 1992.

He was preceded in death by a son, Darryl Williams of Davenport.

Mr. Williams is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Lucille Williams, Haines City.

Son, Robert (Martha Kay) Williams of Titusville, Fl.

Daughter, Elaine (Wayne) Higgins of Haines City, Fl.

Brother, Donald Williams of Oviedo, Fl.

Sister, Wanda Tyree of Chiefland, Fl; Delilah Waddle of Menlo Park, Ca; Gladys Johnson of Chiefland, Fl; and Margie Crump of Davenport, Fl.

Four Grandchildren, two Great Grand Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends  from 10 AM. Saturday (2/27/10) until services at 11:AM. at the Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Davenport. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice 105 Arneson Ave. Auburndale, Fl. 33823
