Thomas Wayne Denmark

 

LAKE WALES, FLORIDA - Thomas Wayne Denmark of Lake Wales, Florida, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010 in Winter Haven, Florida. He was 73. 

Born June 15, 1936,  in Dundee, Florida, to Joseph Bill Denmark and Edna Louise Tomlinson Denmark, he was a lifelong resident of the area with the exception of a few years spent in Georgia and Tennessee. He was a self employed Tile Setter in the construction industry, a Lineman for Tampa Electric and restaurant owner for a while. He enjoyed woodworking and loved fishing. He was a talented musician and played bass guitar in Country Music Bands.  

Preceded in death by his son, Thomas Michael "Mike" Denmark, he is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Bailey Denmark; son, Randall Wayne Denmark of Lake Wales; daughters, Sheila A. Black of Lake Wales, Cheryl Jean Branca of Dundee, Melanie Jeanine Parker of Valdosta, Georgia; brother, James Robert Denmark; step-children, Cassandra Pippen, Alisha Cadieux, Keith Whaley; twelve grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.

Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Bishop Rick Dicks and Bishop Ronnie Spears of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, Florida.
