WINTER HAVEN, FL - Betty Augusta Autrey of Winter Haven went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Palm Terrace of Lakeland from kidney failure.  She was 82. 

A native of Forest Park, Georgia, born July 15, 1927 to Alton & Laura Mae Hand Nash, Betty moved here in 2001 from Franklin, NC.  She was a homemaker, and member of Calvary Baptist Church of Winter Haven. 

Betty is survived by her son: Dan (Avrilia) Autrey of Spokane, WA; her daughters:  Laura (Lamont) Gentry of North Miami, FL, Elaine Stogner of Winter Haven; a half brother:  Don Brown of Americus, GA; and  a "sister"; Mary Shockley of Atlanta, GA.  Betty also has 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at Calvary Baptist Church, 2101 Overlook Drive SE, Winter Haven, FL 33884.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the youth and college fund at the church.
