HAINES CITY - Mary Lucy Rowan, age 68 of Haines City, Florida passed away Thursday (2/25/2010) from complication of COPD.

Mrs. Rowan was born July 17, 1941 in Monterey, Tennessee, the daughter of Solon and Laura Tosh Smith.  She moved here in 1963 from Tennessee and was a waitress and a member of the Church of God.

Mrs. Rowan was preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Rowan, Jr. and is survived by her sons, Louis O. Baine and David R. Baine both of Haines City, Fl; Sisters; Sarah Holcomb; Lilly Baine; Carolyn Early, all of Auburndale, Fl. Brother, Solon Smith of Eagle Lake Fl. 5 Grandchildren and Several great and great great grandchildren.  

Visitation will be  from 5 to 7 PM. Sunday evening and services will be 11AM. Monday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Fl.
