HAINES CITY - Cecil "Zeke" Risen, 82, of Haines City, FL passed away on February 5, 2010 at his residence.

He was born February 3, 1928 in LaFarge, WI and moved to Haines City from East Troy, WI in 1992. Zeke was a steel worker and later in life, the head horticulturalist for Heartland Estates in Haines City. He was an Army veteran having served for 2 years, a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Haines City and he was an avid gardener who also loved to dance.

Zeke is predeceased by his siblings, Don, Wayne, Bill and Joyce and he is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Marie Risen; children, Shirlene (Bob) Hazelberg, Vicki (Larry) Price, Mike (Elaine) Risen, Diana Risen, William Risen, Brenda (Mark) Loepfe; grandchildren, Peter, Amanda, Becky, Matthew, Carissa, Jenilee, Sylvia, Shelby, Noah, Gage, Travis; great grandchildren, Xavier, Wesley, Vivian, Code, Katelyn and siblings, Kirby, Jim, Judy, Connie and Lois. 

A memorial service will be Tuesday, 2/9/10 at 11 am at Faith Lutheran Church, Haines City.
