WINTER HAVEN - Maxine Scroggs Hornsby, 75, a longtime resident of Auburndale, FL died January 31, 2010 at her residence in Winter Haven due to heart failure. 

Born Nov. 16, 1934 in Winter Haven, she was a lifelong resident of the area other than a fifteen year period she lived in Chicago, IL. 

She was a Bookkeeper and attended the Gateway Assembly of God in Auburndale.  She is survived by her friends. 

A Memorial Service will be 7:00pm, Thursday, Feb. 11, 2010 at Gateway Assembly of God in Auburndale.
