Jack E. Waltz

Jack Waltz

HAINES CITY - Jack E. Waltz, age 83, of Haines City, Florida,  joined his Lord and Savior in heaven on Wednesday April, 14, 2010.  He was at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale when he passed away due to heart failure. He led a blessed life and had many loved ones.   

Mr. Waltz was born December 5, 1926 in Harlan, Kentucky.  He and his wife Kathleen moved to Haines City in November of 1959.  He was a retired plumbing supply sales representative and a World War II Air Force veteran.  He had also served as a Deacon at First Baptist Church Haines City and First Baptist Church of Lake Alfred.  He was a member of Haines City Masonic Lodge 219, and the Lyons Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harry Chalmers and Hassie Mabel (Butler) Waltz, two sisters Katherine Fowler, and Mona Emory, and his brother Harry Chalmers Waltz, Jr.

Jack is survived by his dear wife Kathleen Marsee Waltz, who he married 53 joyous years ago on November 22, 1956.  His two loving sons Harry, and David.  His daughter-in-law Christine,  and his two grandsons Alexander and Noah.  His sister Margaret Roark of Cookeville, Tennessee, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Monday, April 19th, at the Chapel of Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City.  Visitation will be from 1 PM until 2 PM with the Memorial Service to follow at 2PM.  Burial will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent via: oakridgefuneralcare.com.
