WINTER HAVEN - James Louis "J.L." Coffman, 64, of Winter Haven died Monday April 19, 2010 at his residence due to COPD.

Born February 3, 1946 in Athens, Alabama he has been a lifelong resident of the area. 

He is survived by: his wife of 32 years, Lorene; 2 daughters, Shana K.  Sills and Katrina Coffman both of Winter Haven; a son Albert Coffman and his wife Danyel of Winter Haven; six grandchildren, Jason, Jacob, Keisha, Shawn, Gabriel and Hollie; his mother, Dorothy Coffman; a sister, Brenda K. Coffman; and 2 brothers, Jimmy Coffman and his wife, Nancy of Lakeland, FL and Roger Coffman and his wife, Faye of Vero Beach, FL; a niece Kristi Coffman McCue and her husband Wally; a great niece, Courtney and 2 great nephews, Nicki and Trevor.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., NW, Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, April 23, 2010 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Haag officiating.  Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
