WINTER HAVEN - Mamie Rea Cayson of Winter Haven, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010 at home from respiratory failure.  She was 97. 

A native of Jackson County, FL, born October 31, 1912, Mamie moved here in 1930 from Cottondale, FL.  She was a Homemaker, and member of the Winter Haven Church of God.

Mamie was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie L. Cayson, two sons, Ual Lee Cayson & Jackie Cayson, a grandson Christopher Cayson,  her daughter in law Betty Cayson, and son in law Wendell Barrentine. 

She is survived by her daughters: Juanita Barrentine, Laverne Finch (Doyle), and Glenda Roberts (Stan), all of Winter Haven.  Mamie also has 12 grandsons, 6 granddaughters, and a host of great grandchildren & spouse and great-great grandchildren. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 PM at the Winter Haven Church of God.  Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
