WINTER HAVEN - Sally L. Carlton, age 83, passed away April 5, 2010 due to cancer. 

A long time resident of Winter Haven, Sally moved here from Chicago, IL in 1966 and worked with her husband, John Carlton, at Carlton Music Center.  

She was born on January 13, 1927 in Tacoma Washington.

Husband John Carlton preceded her in death.  

She is survived by sons Glen Carlton of Winter Haven and Richard Carlton of Lakeland, grandchildren Julie Carlton of Winter Haven, Drew Carlton and Jake Carlton of Lakeland, Sisters Rose Targosz of Arkansas and Betty Maddox of Reno Nevada.  Sally will be truly missed by her family that loved her dearly.  

Visitation will be Sunday April 11, 2010 from 2-4pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Home.  

In lieu of flowers, donations to Cornerstone Hospice would be appreciated.
