WINTER HAVEN - Theodore J. Arens, age 80 of Winter Haven, Fl passed away Monday (4/26/10) at Wedgewood Assisted Living Facility in Winter Haven.

Mr. Arens was born July 1, 1929 in Gibson City, Illinois and moved here from Charlottesville, Virginia.  He was a retired National Inventory Catalog Manager for Montgomery Wards having worked in Minnesota and New York. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, and Army Veteran of the Korean War.  

Mr. Arens was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Joseph and Christine (Hemmen) Arens, 2 brothers, Harlan Arens and Clayton Arens, two sisters, Evelyn Arens, Marion McCullough and his son Timothy W. Arens.  

He is survived by his wife, Rita M. Arens of Winter Haven,  daughter, Constance M. and  her husband James Tamme of Lakeland, Fl, son Scott J. and his wife Carla of Hibbing, Minnesota. 3 grandchildren; Randi, Trevor,  and Clayton; 2 great great grandchildren, Anthony and Katelyn.  

A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 AM. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church Chapel. Inurnment will be later that day at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fl.
