WINTER HAVEN, FLORIDA – Ms. Jimmie Lee Cooley Hammac of Winter Haven died Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at home.  She was 77. 

A native of Winter Haven, born August 6, 1931, Jimmie has been a lifelong resident of the area.  Before retirement she was a machine operator for General Foods. 

Jimmie was pre-deceased by her husband:  Walter J. Hammac, Jr., her mother:  Beulah May Cooley, and 6 siblings. 

She is survived by her son and his wife:  John and Kathy Hammac of Winter Haven; her daughter and her husband:  Lois and Ronnie Gattie of Bartow, 5 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
