HAINES CITY - Hubert Daniel, age 83 of Haines City, Fl. passed away Tuesday (8/25/09) at the Hospice House in Sebring, Fl.  from cancer. 

Mr. Daniel was born Mar. 12, 1926 in Luverne, Ala. and had moved to Haines City in 1940. He was a truck dispatcher having worked at Haines City Citrus Growers Association for 22 years and then Orange Co. for 10 years before retiring. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II and a member of the Corinth  Primitive Baptist Church, Avon Park, Fl.   

Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Fannie (Williamson) Daniels and in Oct. 2008 his daughter;  Sandra Daniel Cooper . He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years;   Jean  Daniel and a sister Ruth Thrower of Haines City. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM. Thursday (8/27) till services at 2:00 PM. Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
