DUNDEE - Vivian "VICKI" Moody Adams, 50, passed away on Sat., August 8, 2009, due to heart failure. 

Born February 3, 1959, to David E. and Sara K. Moody in Winter Haven, FL, Vicki resided in Polk County, FL, most of her life.  She graduated from Auburndale High School in 1977.  She was a supervisor with GTE/Verizon and recently retired after 29 ˝ years.  Vicki was a Girl Scout leader of Troop # 214 in Dundee, FL, and volunteered in the community on many projects.  She attended Stillwater Christian Life Center.

Vicki was preceded in death by her father, David E. Moody and survived by her mother, Sara K. Moody of Auburndale, FL.  She is also survived by her husband, Gary Adams of Dundee, two daughters, Samantha Elizabeth Adams and Allyson Victoria Adams, a granddaughter, Autumn Elizabeth (Lizzy) Adams, grandson, Dylan Barwick, of Bartow, step-daughter, Tracey Larson, of Arnold, MO, and step-son, Preston Adams, of High Ridge, MO., sister, Elizabeth Moody Keen (Bill) of Hayesville, NC, brother, Thomas Ervin Moody, of Auburndale, FL, nephew, Levic David Allen of Brandon, FL niece, Jahna Allen Leinhauser (Larry) of Bradenton, FL, a great-nephew and great-niece of Bradenton, FL, and many cousins, friends and pets including Gizzard. 

Visitation will be Friday, 8/14/09 from 6-8 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven and services will be Saturday, 8/15/09 at 11 am at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent via: www.oakridgefuneralcare.com.
