CLERMONT - Edward F. "Sonny" Whitehouse, 80, of Florida passed away on September 29, 2009 due to cancer.

Sonny grew up in Stoneham, MA and graduated from Stoneham High School in 1947. He spent 4 years in the Stoneham National Guard then he went to spend 20 years in the US Air Force retiring as a MSGT in 1972. Sonny was a member of the Masons, being a 32 degree Mason; he was a Shriner, a member of the V.F.W.; American Legion; D.A.V.; Florida Deputy Sheriff Assoc. and many humanitarian organizations.

Sonny is survived by his wife, Laura W. Whitehouse; son, George E. Whitehouse of Salem, NH; daughter, Marion E. Gunning of Lynn, MA; son, William A. Whitehouse of Chelmsford, MA; grandchildren, Edward and Leah Whitehouse, Alec and Amanda Gunning, Justin, Adam, Travis and Blake Whitehouse.
