AUBURNDALE - Janet Arleen "Nana" Reising, 70, of Auburndale, died Monday, September 7, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Resident Center in Auburndale due to Respiratory Failure.

Born May 30, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA to George and Dorothea Wanner, she has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a retired paraprofessional with the Polk  County School Board and was of the Baptist Faith. 

Janet is survived by: 3 sons, James Elder of Winter Haven, William Elder of Winter Haven and Jack Reising of Lake Alfred ; 3 daughters, Arleen Nast of Davenport, Kathy Finley of Lake Alfred and Susan Turner of Winter Haven; a step-son, Dale Reising of Texas; a step-daughter, Cindy Stewart of Pompano  Beach, FL; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Friday, Sept. 11, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd. NW, Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will be at 11:00am, Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Townley officiating.  

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
