DAVENPORT - Fred G. Moss , age 74, of Davenport died September 4 of complications from cancer. 

He retired after 27 years as a Disney employee.  He was a member and past Governor of Lodge 2083 of the Loyal Order of the Moose, and a past Commander of American Legion Post 34. Fred served in the US Air Force and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Haines City.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Barker-Moss, brothers Wayne Moss of Shickshinny, PA and Robert Moss of LaBelle, FL, son Fred Moss, Jr., daughter Kendall Moss-Jones, stepdaughter Janet Palmer, and several grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Thursday; 9/10/09 from 5-7 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City and the funeral will be Friday at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. A reception will be held at the Haines City Moose Lodge following the service.
