DUNDEE, FLORIDA - Gary L. Babylon of Dundee died on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at his home. He was 66.

He was born on May 17, 1943, in Piqua, Ohio, to J. D. Babylon and Thelma Myers Babylon. He was a resident of Polk County for 28 years and had moved to Dundee from Winter Haven in 2005. He was a Supervisor for the Water Department for the City of Kissimmee and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Ann Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by daughters, Jennifer Blackburn and husband Gary of Winter Haven, Florida, Mary Babylon of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother Thomas "Tom" Babylon of Covington, Ohio and sister, Jean Stover of Kissimmee, Florida.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, September 4, 2009 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Haines City, with Father Robert Mitchell officiating.
