DUNDEE - Robert "Bob" L. Taintor, Jr.,  67, of Dundee, FL passed away Thursday, September 17, 2009 at his residence due to cancer.

Born September 17, 1942 in Manchester, New Hampshire to Robert and Carol Campbell Taintor he moved here in 2005 from Centralia, IL. He was a former Cypress Gardens Water Skier.  He worked as an Insurance Agent for Dershimer Insurance, was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of the VFW in Winter Haven. 

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by: his wife Linda Taintor; a son, Robert Loren Taintor, III of Centralia, IL; a step-daughter, Jennifer Sims of Noblesville, IN; 2 half-brothers, Steve Wright of Centralia, IL and Donnie Wright of Murphysboro, IL.
