LAKE ALFRED, FLORIDA-Virginia Ann Swearengin Smith of Lake Alfred, FL passed away at home Saturday, September 5, 2009.  She was 45.  Cause of death pending autopsy results. 

A native of Orlando, Florida, born December 3, 1963, Virginia has been a lifelong resident of the area.  She was a member of the Lakeland Moose Lodge #945, and she was a Baptist. 

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband:  Allen.  She is survived by her parents:  Shirley & James Berry of Waynesboro, TN; her sister:  Crystal (Josh) Crews of Waynesboro, TN; her brothers:  Joe Swearengin of Mulberry, FL, Johnny (Renee) Swearengin , William & Jack Swearengin, all of Auburndale, FL; and her special friend:  Paul Allen of Lake Alfred. 

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Winter Haven.  Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home chapel.
