WINTER HAVEN, FL - Catherine E. Lechner of Winter Haven, FL passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at home from cancer. 

She was 90.  A native of Connellsville, PA, born July 26, 1919, Catherine moved to Winter Haven in 1997 from Brooksville, FL.  She was a retired Supervisor in retail sales, and a member of the Ladies of the Moose. 

She is survived by her husband:  Irwin "Red" Lechner of Winter Haven, her step-son:  Ronald J. Towers of Pittsburgh, PA, 2 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. 

Visitation in Winter Haven will be from 2 to 4 PM at the Oak Ridge Funeral Care.  Graveside services will be Monday, September 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Green Ridge Memorial Park in Connellsville, PA under the direction of the Brooks Funeral Home.
