HAINES CITY - Timothy Lyle Barber, 58, of Haines City, FL passed away on September 25, 2009 at his residence due to cancer.

He was born April 26, 1951 in Winter Haven, FL and was a lifelong resident of Haines City. He was a US veteran serving in the National Guard and he was a Florida Cracker Craftsman. Timothy attended Still Water Christian Life Center; he was an avid outdoorsman and a Florida history buff.

He was predeceased by his father, Mel Barber and he is survived by his mother, Dorothy Barber of Haines City; brother Bill Barber and his wife Pam of Sebring, FL; nephews, Joey and Matt Barber and nieces, Rachel and Janet Barber. 

Visitation will be Monday, 9/28/09 from 2-3 pm with services to follow at 3 pm at Still Water Christian Life Center of Haines City. Memorial donations may be made to the Lakeland Cancer Center Foundation.
