WINTER HAVEN - Bernard Duncan Bailey, Sr., 80 , of Winter Haven, FL, died Friday, September 25, 2009 at Winter Haven Hospital Due to Heart Failure. 

Born August 19, 1929 in Marblehead, Massachusetts he moved to Florida in 1987. He retired after many years in administration but had worked for many years as an aircraft assembler at the Rohr Company and had owned several of his own businesses.  He was of the Protestant Faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served on Submarines.  He enjoyed Flying airplanes and aviation. 

He is survived by his children, Tina Ochoa, Nina Knight, Bernard Bailey, Jr., Desa Doster, Danette Driggers and Jimi Bailey; and Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Massachusetts.
