HAINES CITY - Hattie P. Adair, 76, of Haines City passed away at her home on Saturday, September 26, 2009 due to heart failure.

Born in Unadilla, GA on 10/18/1932, she came to Florida in 1950. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service where she worked as a clerk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Beatrice Peavy; sisters, Juanita Peavy, Clyde Sellars, Mary Douglass and granddaughter Suzanne Adair. Hattie is survived by her 3 sons, Rodney Adair and his wife Carmen of Haines City, Ross Adair of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Richard Adair and wife Dawn of St. Cloud, FL; 4 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren.
