WINTER HAVEN - Luis Felipe Torres, 57, of Winter Haven, FL died Tuesday, October 12, 2009 at the Lakeland Hills Center in Lakeland due to a stroke.

Born May 1, 1952 in San Turce, Puerto Rico he moved here 13 years ago from Lawrence, MA.  He was a Missionary Minister and was a member of Trinity Worship Center in Auburndale, FL.

Mr. Torres is survived by: his wife Celia Espaillat, 7 sons, Luis Torres of South Carolina, Yussuf Torres of South Carolina, Shael Torres of Winter Haven, Genesis Torres of Massachusetts, Isaiah Torres ofWinter Haven, Esaias Torres of Winter Haven and Joel Torres of Winter Haven; 4 daughters, Tomasa Torres of Winter Haven, Aisha Jimenez of Bartow, FL; Shaelis Anderson of Winter Haven, and Yanesis Torres of Winter Haven. Numerous Brothers and Sisters; and 15 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm till 7:00pm, Friday, October 16, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 2425 Havendale Blvd., Winter Haven.  Funeral Services will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Trinity Worship Center in Auburndale with Dr. Charles Anderson officiating.  Interment will follow at Rolling Hills Cemetery in Winter Haven.
