WINTER HAVEN - Gene Paul Vick of Winter Haven, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the Life Care Center in Winter Haven.  He ws 74. 

A native of Lorain, Ohio, born October 16, 1935, Gene moved here 11 years ago from Lorain.  He retired from US Steel as a Inspector; was a US Army veteran; was a member of the Moose Lodge in both Winter Haven and Lorian; and was on the Rebman's bowling league in Lorian. 

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia J. Vick; his sons:  Paul E. (Della) Vick of Weslaco, TX, Ronald J. (Marian) Vick of Peoria, IL; his daughters:  Terri L. Therrien of Honeapath, SC, Laura A. Wojda of Hampton, VA; his sister:  Ruth Murphy of Avon Lake, OH, and his grandchildren:  Ashlee, Bradley, Danielle, Joshua, Matthew, Kaitlynn, Kristina, Ryan, and David. 

Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City.  Interment will be at a later date at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
