Polk City - Mathew "Matt" Liethead  III, age 60 of Polk City, Florida passed away Thursday at home. Mr. Leithead was born February 4, 1949 in Oceanside, California and moved here in 1975 from Pompano Beach, Fl.  He was a truck driver for SSI Petroleum in Winter Haven, Fl.  He is survived by his wife of 41 years,  Ellen Liethead.  Two sons; Mathew Leithead IV of Brandon, Fl. and Wade Leithead of Polk City, Florida, Two brothers; Michael Leithead of Davenport, Fl. and Timothy Leithead of Haines City, Fl.  Sister; Nancy Burney of Davenport, Fl. 4 Grandchildren. Services will be at a later date. Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Avenue, Haines City, Florida in charge of arrangements.
