DUNDEE - R. Ethel Dicks, age 89 of Dundee, Fl. passed away Monday(Nov. 16,2009) from respiratory failure.

She was born July 30, 1920 in Union County, Fl. the daughter of John Jackson and Lonice Valeria (Clemons) Nettles. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Haines City Ward, where she had been a member for many years.  

She was preceded in death by her Husband of 70 years, J.C. (Bob) Dicks and is survived by her daughter, Betty D. Bagley of Haines City, Fl; 2 sons, John E. Dicks and wife Carolyn of Haines City, Fl;  Carl F. Dicks of Dundee, Fl.  Sister,  Imogene Smith of Providence, Fl; 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

She will be sorely missed by family and friends.  

Visitation will be 5 to 8 PM.,  Thursday (Nov. 19, 2009) at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City, Fl. Services will be 11 AM. Saturday (Nov. 21, 2009) in the Church at Oak Grove Cemetery in Union County near Lake Butler, Fl.
