HAINES CITY - Nita Harvey, 83, of Haines City, FL passed away on November 15, 2009 at her residence.

She was born September 14, 1926 in Sarasota, FL and moved to Haines City from there in 1945. Nita was an Elder at Lake Hamilton Presbyterian Church and an active member of Lake Hamilton Women’s Club but mostly she was devoted to her family and friends.

Nita is predeceased by her husband, Curtis E. Harvey and she is survived by her daughters, Carol (Gary) Powers of Titusville, FL and Paige (Kevin) Atwood of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Lori Rochowiak, Greg Powers, Chris Powers, Julia Atwood, Jarred Atwood and great grandchildren, Ashley, Zach, Alex and Luke.

The family will be receiving visitors from 12 – 1pm on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City with a memorial service to follow at 1 pm.
