HAINES CITY - Joan J. White, 72, of the Sweetwater Community, died May 11, 2009 in Tampa, FL due to a brain hemorrhage.

She was born March 21, 1937 in Merced, CA and moved to Haines City in 2000 from Orlando, FL. She was a homemaker who loved to sew and garden and she lived for her grandchildren. Joan is survived by her husband, of 53 years, Raymond A. White; children, George G. White of New Mexico, Patricia Bruno, Phyllis Howard, Mark A. White, Carol J. Nagle, Theresa L. Harris, all of Central Florida; 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday 5/16/09 at 1 pm at Sweetwater Clubhouse. In lieu of flowers and cards memorials may be made to American Cancer Society 809 S.
