DUNDEE - Mary "Audine" Slocumb of Dundee, Florida, died May 29, 2009, in Lake Wales, Florida. She was 72.

She was born November 9, 1936 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Robert Fulton and Amy Beatrice Grissom Shannon. Audine was a homemaker who loved to spend time with her Family, and she was also a member of Dundee Baptist Church.

She is predeceased by her husband, William "Bud" Slocumb; siblings, Lavon Shannon, Jay Shannon and Margie Johnson and she is survived by her son, Sid Slocumb and his wife Laura of Lakeland, Florida; siblings, Verna Bailey of Okeechobee, Florida, Ima Gene Stanphill of Mississippi; Geraldine Perkins of Alabama, Buddy Shannon of Alabama; and grandson, William "Heath" Slocumb of Lake Wales.

Visitation will be Monday, June 1, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Brother Tim Bullington of Dundee Baptist Church officiating.
