HAINES CITY, FLORIDA - Aline Tucker Lyle of Haines City, passed away at Haines City Health Care in Haines City on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. She was 94.

Born in Moultrie, Georgia on October 31, 1914, to Richard Davis Tucker and Mary Harvey Tucker and moved here 15 years ago from Avon Park, Florida. She was a retired Nurses Aide, a Past Director for the American Red Cross in Highlands County, and she was a former Den Mother for the Cub Scouts.

Aline was preceded in death by her husband: James P. Lyle, Jr. She is survived by her son: James S. Lyle of Haines City, sister: Lennie Lovell of Dundee, Florida; granddaughters: Lesley Lyle of Bowling Green, Florida, Christina Lyle of Winter Haven, Florida, and Holly Lyle of Haines City. She also has 2 great-grandsons.
A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Haines City. Final resting place will be in The National Cemetery of the Pacific, Oahu, Hawaii.
